A. A couple reasons:
1. I haven’t learned how to bend time yet.
Specifically, I have more demand for this offer than I have time to fulfill it. Therefore, I’m allowed to set the terms and I prefer to get paid upfront when possible.
Before you hate me for being a pompous windbag, this exact scenario ^^^ of being in high-demand is exactly what I want to do for you. So, it’d be weird to do it one way for me, but then turn around and do it another way for you.
If I could somehow figure out how to squeeze 48 hours into each and every hour, maybe I could offer a pay-as-you-go situation.
2. You wouldn’t need me if the conditions were capable of producing a win-win scenario.
Here’s what I mean:
In order for me to set up a “profit share”, I’d need to know you were a proven entity in business. Typically, I require companies to have been in business for 3+ years with average annual earnings north of $5,000,000 a year before I’ll consider profit share.
Why?
I want to know that they’ll actually pay.
I’ve been burned so many times by clients who don’t meet those minimums that it is a Golden Rule in my business now.
But the ironic thing is… if you did meet those minimums right now, you wouldn’t need this particular offer from me. You’d already have the offers, the funnels, and the team in place to make this happen for you automagically.
3. This isn’t free for me either.
You see, I won’t be the only one working on your stuff if we work together.
You’ll get my designers, my tech people, my traffic team, my project managers, my QA staff, my admins, etc. etc. etc. etc.
None of them want to work for free. Trust me, I already asked.
Since this won’t be an overnight thing (it takes a few weeks to build and TONS of man hours to pull it off), I simply can’t float the expense while I wait to get paid.
